These bird houses are adorable and had to be a part of this piece.

It doesnt snow here in Bangalore but it can on the fabric. ☼

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION 2013

This year I decided to learn two new skills- crochet and tatting. This is my first attempt at  crochet ever.

 

Its going to be a shawl or a throw... for a favorite aunt. She lives in the US and it  will be a reminder that we are not too far away.

A STITCH IN TIME....

 

:: This patchwork quilt combines Indian block prints that i had stored for years and finally I decided to use them. The patchwork itself took a couple of weeks but the running stitches also called Kantha stitch took  almost 6 months.
